Steve Hinton, Managing Director, Hinton Sheerline Ltd.
Steve is an experienced coach who works with Chief Executives, Managing Directors, Senior Executives and other leaders. He brings a combination of wide business and consultancy experience and excellent interpersonal and coaching skills.
Steve has wide experience of working with senior staff in large, complex organizations, helping them to deal with high rates of change, increasing commercial pressures and working with challenging staff and colleagues. He has a particular expertise in the whole field of innovation, enterprise and entrepreneurship. He has coached many senior staff in a variety of multinational companies and has worked with many parts of their businesses to deliver innovation programmes and top team development. Sectors include utilities, transport, engineering, healthcare and manufacturing.
Steve has a varied and multi-faceted career. He trained as an engineer and worked in manufacturing management and then general management. He moved into the people development field in 1993 when he set up QED Consulting with two other colleagues. The company was a very successful provider of leadership and management training and development, working with major clients in the public and private sectors.
Steve now works independently through his company Hinton Sheerline Ltd and his style is supportive, practical, business focused and very effective. He helps to stimulate and embed deep changes in behavior and performance – transforming clients’ personal and career achievements. He is a Fellow of the British American Project, a transatlantic leadership development and networking organization.
Steve graduated from Imperial College in London with a BSc in Mechanical Engineering, First Class Honors.
