Kanellos concludes they were way ahead of the market but by the time they matured, the market had passed them by. We think it’s more a case of Technology Drivers do not perform as well as Need Seekers (Value Innovators). Lilliputian Systems was developing portable fuel cells to recharge mobile phones and laptops. Samsung’s free re-charging stations provided a much lower cost and safer solution.
