You have a challenge and are looking for the “best advice.”  The solution:  A Key Expert Panel.

What is a Key Expert Panel (KEP)?

6-8 Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) are recruited to address your challenge.  The KEP is a 24h event.  The SMEs arrive in the late afternoon to attend a cocktail party and dinner that evening.  They meet, probably for the first time, in an environment that fosters bonding,  the goal is to prepare them for a great interactive, collaborative day. The KEP starts at 8:00am and ends at 4:00pm local time.

Typically NDAs would be signed before the KEP.

Why would you use a KEP?

Recruit 6-8 SMEs to whom you would share your challenge.  Our experience is you will not believe how open they are and what you will learn on day 2.

What do we need?

1.  A clear definition of the problem/challenge.

2.  A flier that provides the KEP details.

3.  A list of potential SMEs.

4.  In all likeliehood an executed NDA.
